Special Family Moments

I had other plans for tonight’s blog but I had such a wonderful evening with my youngest little fella that I’m in the mood to share about that instead.

Yesterday I wrote about Christmas traditions.  One I didn’t mention was certain tv programs we always looked forward to watching each year.  Tonight, one of my two favorites was on CBS, just like when I was a kid.   Frosty the Snowman.  Do you remember that one?

Josh and I snuggled under a blanket together to watch Frosty.  He was so excited!  He had on his TMNT pj’s grandma got for him.  He smelled like a clean, little boy and so very cuddly.  I love little moments like those.  As my boys are getting older, I don’t get as many opportunities to cuddle with them like I used to.  It’s so hard to admit they are not my little babies anymore!

I really loved being able to share a moment of my childhood with him though!  I hope we can find Rudolph before the Christmas season is over.  Oh!  I have one other favorite program, the cartoon version of Dr Seuss‘ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

What are your favorite childhood Christmas programs or movies?  Have you had a chance to watch them with your children?  How did that feel?  Do they share the same favorite Christmas movies?
